We source this coffee through The Coffee Quest.
Aricha Wubanchi is a Natural Ethiopian lot from Aricha Station, located in the Southern part of
Ethiopia, Gediyo zone, 9 km from Yirgacheffe town. This 2.5-hectare station sits at an elevation of
2213 m.a.s.l and process not only naturals but also washed and extra-fermented coffee, based on
the type of quality of coffee supplied. Over 2700 farmers, mainly cultivating the local 74110 and
7412 varieties, contribute on a weekly basis.
Natural lots – Farmers hand-pick cherries at peak ripeness and spread on African drying beds for
approximately 19 to 21 days. The cherries are regularly moved and rotated to ensure uniform
drying. When the coffee moisture reaches 10%-12%, it is transferred to the warehouse.
Aricha Wubanchi Station offers a range of meticulously processed coffees, showcasing the unique
