How Much & How Often
How Much & How Often
Not sure how much coffee you need?
| Cups a week | 250g bag |
| 1-4 | 1 bag a month |
| 5-8 | 2 bags a month |
| 9-12 | 3 bags a month |
| 13-16 | 4 bags a month |
1 cup of coffee = a 240 ml serving based on a 1:16 brew ratio
For example, if your brew ratio is 1 to 16 (often expressed 1:16, or 1/16), then for every one part coffee, you use 16 parts water. In other words, to prepare 1 cup of brewed coffee you would use 15g of ground coffee and 240 ml of water.

Behind the Cup
Behind the Cup
Fazenda Recreio lies in São Sebastião da Grama, in the northeast of São Paulo state — the hill country of the Mogiana growing region, one of Brazil's benchmark areas for clean, sweet, nut-and-caramel coffee.
What makes this lot unusual is the varietal. Gesha is far more often associated with Panama and Ethiopia than with Brazil, and it is rarely planted here. Grown in Brazilian conditions and taken through a natural process — the whole cherry left intact around the bean to dry — it lands between the two worlds: the florality and blackcurrant-like acidity Gesha is known for, carried on the body Brazil does better than anywhere.
The cup opens bright and floral with cassis and bitter orange, then settles into caramel, pecan and peanut butter with a honeyed finish. We roast this one for filter.
Tasting notes: Cassis, Floral, Caramel, Bitter Orange, Red Apple, Pecan, Peanut Butter, Honey
